Problem or Opportunity
Food production is inefficient because 40% of the food produced is lost to diseases. Aquaculture, the fastest growing segment of food production, is ridden with disease. The current disease management solution is to remove every single fish from water and inject them with a vaccine. This is tedious and costly for the farmers so only 1% of the farmers vaccinate their fish. For v.high value animals like shrimps, no solutions are available because of their small size and large numbers.

We design orally delivered vaccine solutions for aquaculture so no injections are required. We use biotechnology and synthetic biology to prevent losses >$50Billion. We have also received competitive, peer reviewed grants from USA and Singapore for our endeavours.
