Problem or Opportunity

U.S. meal delivery market has much room for a structural growth due to low penetration. Nevertheless, the structural problems (endless rise in delivery cost and time) of meal delivery market is already the most severe in the U.S.. It’s a broken model with customers bearing all the cost, being the most victim.

Solution (product or service)

Cook-en-route is the new meal delivery service model in which the food is fully cooked automatically while en route to the customer’s doorstep, ensuring timely delivery of freshly cooked meals at affordable price (25~30% cheaper than market). Cook-en-route delivers the highest quality and taste with every order.

Business model

Our model combines the robotic kitchen and delivery truck into one mobile restaurant. When the delivery ETA is 10~15 minutes, the robotic kitchen automatically begins preparing our chef’s curated meals while en route to customer’s location. This innovative approach not only guarantees peak freshness but also enhances the dining experience by delivering restaurant-quality Korean BBQ directly to consumers. Notably, the fully automated mobile restaurant allows us to pass the savings directly to consumers, offering better ingredients and no delivery fee & no service charge.
