Problem or Opportunity
Measurable medical errors cost as much as $40 billion annually, and as much as 80% of surgical errors occur intra operatively.
They are frequently attributed to technical and decision (or poor judgment) issues that, with the right technology, could have been avoided altogether.
Solution (product or service)
Vision Surgery AI solves these problems by leveraging the power of AI and Computer Vision to obtain insights of the surgery environment.
Our data-driven surgery models are based on video and audio data, which we collect to build large datasets and training AI models. This empowers healthcare professionals to better surgical anomalies in real time – and ultimately make smarter decisions.
This results in a reduction in both failures and errors in surgery, an increase in precision and efficiency, reduced costs of surgery, and improved surgical training and competency assessment.
Business model
We are pleased to announce that we have already secured commitments from interested parties. Notably, the largest telecommunications company in Germany has expressed their intention to distribute our Vision Surgery AI platform to numerous hospitals, bolstering our confidence in generating revenue this year.
