Idea

We are an investor relations platform that simplifies the data & communication exchange between founders & investors, enabling better data-driven investment decisions while saving 50% of costs & time.

Current Status

We have organically grown to 6000+ users on DueDash from 100+ countries and 70+ industries. On DueDash, 7000+ deal memos were viewed, and 1000+ data rooms accessed. While we so far generated revenues from subscription models and a service layer building on top of the tech, we will now also add a transactional model to participate in the success of our businesses. The next milestone is about the democraitization of investments as we are transforming our startup from a strong product- and IP-led business into a scalable SaaS business.

Problem or Opportunity

According to the VC power law, 90% of startups fail. With the global crises of last years (war, COVID, collapsing of banks) many startups have run out of cash. In addition, investors are holding back their money, leading to $600bn in dry powder. On top, the valuation of the ones that make it currently decreased between 15-60%.

This results in a vortex of death. High startup failure rates combined with lower exits lead to a lower ROI for investors. This in turn makes it harder for them to raise their next fund, again leading to greater problems for startups to raise funds.

Solution (product or service)

With DueDash, we are aiming to change the status quo by allowing investors to double-down on high potential startups. We enable founders to provide updates to investors in real-time, so investors can better support where its needed - also financially. This way, investors can increase their success rates and achieve higher ROIs, which in turn makes it easier to raise their next fund, again making more money available to startups. We achieve this with our freemium, end-to-end investor relations platform real-time data insights, tracking and management.

Business model

We run our platform as a freemium subscription model with both plans for startups and investors. We do so to remove the friction when one side wants to fully onboard and also to create network effects. In addition, we are offering services to both sides that have our SaaS solution as a heartbeat system to reinforce the usage of the same. We will now add a transactional model on top for SPVs.
