Problem or Opportunity
Over 50% of our buildings & bridges have exceeded their expiration date and become older every day. Replacing all obsolete assets comes with unbearable costs and CO2. Every year over 100 bridge collapses are reported in the US. Maintenance today relies on inspections that are subjective, time-consuming and inconclusive. As a result, assets at risk do not get properly retrofitted and structurally sound assets get replaced. No commercial offering to date for data-driven maintenance decisions.
Solution (product or service)
We combine low-cost accelerometers with intelligent algorithms to maximise the safe life of our asset. Our software translates vibrations due to wind or traffic into metrics for predictive maintenance planning. Our technology monitors the global structural integrity with limited number of sensors and we are able to detect internal damage independent from the construction material. We translate monitoring data into metrics for maintenance prioritisation and planning. Owners of large portfolios of assets optimise maintenance costs and minimise risks of unexpected downtimes/collapses.

We offer an end-to-end solution for portfolio level predictive maintenance planning for infrastructure and buildings:
- Customized sensors and data-acquisition for monitoring vibrations of buildings and bridges due to wind or traffic. Our hardware is customised to infrastructure and buildings and achieves optimal performance at a price level 10-20 times cheaper compared to off-the-self products.
- AI-powered software as a service, that translates vibrations into stiffness / traffic loads and health metrics and tools for predictive maintenance planning at portfolio level.
