Idea

A platform to easily and conveniently connect customers with service providers (starting from photography solution). This platform allows users to easily find service providers (for ex. photographers), book their services (photo-sessions), interact with service providers, manage their bookings, pay for the services. Service providers are going to have convenient management tool to organise their work and find new clients. It's a global platform which will join service providers from EU and from different domains (like photographers, sport clubs, coaches, beauty sphere masters etc.)

Current Status

At this moment we have a small agile team working on a product consists of CTO (main development forces), CEO, designer and two interns.
We're working on MVP which is around 45% done. We launched our landing page with join waitlist functionality and have few real users waiting for our launch. We haven't conduct a promo company yet.

Market

The size of Clio’s target market is stipulated only by a number of clients seeking to receive industry-specific services and a number of corresponding service providers.

The EU population is >400M residents most of who generate a constant demand for a vast number of different services. The Clio platform will be there to facilitate the delivery of those services to the clients.

The number of Clio platform’s industry-specific use cases can be measured in dozens (some of the examples are provided in a previous slide).

As a result, the potential target market size is enormous (continued in the next slide)

Problem or Opportunity

A specific problem we would like to tackle with our MVP solution:

Getting ready for a photo session, which involves finding a photographer, selecting the right location such as a photo studio, and coordinating the time and place, can take several days.
As a client I want to effortlessly locate photographers and/or photo studios and schedule a photo session without spending excessive time.
As a photographer I want to easily manage my work and acquire new clients with minimal effort.

More wide problem: as a user I want to have a platform where I can easily find any service I need, book it and get it. As a service provider (photographer, photo-studio, sport gym, beauty sphere master etc.) I want to have a platform which brings me new clients, allows easily communicates with my clients/partners and conveniently manage my work - all in one place.

ClioSolutions: an ideal destination for discovering your ideal services

For MVP:
A platform to simplify the process of finding a photographer and a photo studio for a client. With its user-friendly interface, clients can search for photographers based on their desired location, type of photographer’s work, and preferred date and time and easily book a photo session.
For photographers it’s not only an effortless way to gain new clients, but also a valuable management tool that streamlines their work and makes it more efficient.

Advantages or differentiators

Competitors are either solving management tasks for photographers (for ex Studio Ninja) or deal with one domain (MyWed) or have very few service providers in EU (PhotoSesh) or deal in one region (ProntoPro)

We are going to cover all most popular service domains in EU (and more) (starting with photography solution) and to connect customers with service providers in the whole EU.

Finance

Strategy: By the time our Photography solution MVP has been completed (no more than 4 months of development), we plan to have launched an aggressive marketing campaign aimed at capturing as large of the Photography market share as possible.

For the first 3 months after the MVP launch the subscription fee will be waived, in order to attract as large a number of photo service providers as possible. With an average of 200 active photo service providers using the solution, there will be some relatively modest revenue (~66K USD) generated solely by transaction commissions during this period.

Sources of revenue: Photographer’s subscription fee of 22 USD/month; Transaction fee of 10% of the amount of each individual transaction/contract executed between a client and a photo service provider. We assume that one transaction on average will be worth 550 USD with the number of transactions per month being twice number of active photo service providers.

Business model

MVP cost is ~130K USD

Break even point is reached during Month 11. Revenue vs. cost figures meet at around 570K USD

Cumulative GM at the end of Year 1 is projected at around (1 - cost/revenue)*100% = 29.45%

Revenue generation starts in Month 5 after the release of the Photo solution MVP and grows parabolically afterwards

Money will be spent on

We need funds to incorporate our company, to pay salaries for our team, finish and launch our MVP solution and conduct a marketing company.

Risks

Marketing. We need to bring people to our platform and at the beginning it can be challenging. At this moment we introduced waitlist functionality to launch our platform with already existed users.
