Idea

deskMy is an immersive space for working from anywhere using virtual reality. Your work desk anywhere: the metaverse for work.

Current Status

Following our soft launch in Jan of 2021, people spent over 300k hours using deskmy, with the average user spending almost 7 hours daily during work days. In addition to that, we were able to get 3800+ signups to date and are having now 1200+ MAU (monthly active users from 13 countries), with an average growth rate of 30% MoM (last 3 months). Intending to achieve strong retention, we are validating our product with a DAU/WAU of 83 percent and a DAU/MAU of 75 percent.

Problem or Opportunity

Companies have long struggled to break down communication silos while boosting cross-functional collaboration. The challenge only got more acute with the covid pandemic. Suddenly, companies shifted entire teams to home-office, impacting their operations. Because of this abrupt change, the same old problem became worse with endless links to meetings and an overload of emails and messages. The efforts to connect people across the organization are drowning teams in an overload of virtual interaction technology, from Zoom to Slack.The discussion should not be about going back to the office or not.

Solution (product or service)

We are building a whole new experience that gives teams today the proximity of the physical office with the flexibility of the remote while expanding functionalities. In other words, deskMy is an office with superpowers, a layer across all the applications needed today to get the work done, focusing more on what is needed to be accomplished than which app is being used since communication and collaboration must happen together. That’s why we are building the metaverse for work, an immersive platform based on: presence, collaboration, and identity.

Business model

Designed for B2B market, MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION (membership per user).
