Given the current and GLOBAL Obesity epidemic and grossly unhealthy lifestyles in the developed world the TAM (Total Addressable Market) is well over 550M for only 3 languages: English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Initially, we plan to focus on US/Canada and expand onward in our second year of operations.

Though there are some FDA-mandated guidelines for packaged and restaurant foods they are minimal at best and very complex to implement and manage. In addition, there is no such information for home-cooked meals making it almost impossible to evaluate the nutrient density of our foods.

To clarify, our solution is an Industry FIRST!!!! and there is nothing like it on the market currently.
However, there are numerous mobile calorie counting apps masquerading as healthy food recommendation including My Fitness Pal, Calorie Mama, Weight Watchers, etc.

NuQ is a brand new cross-disciplinary methodology that simplifies complexities associated with calculating accurate nutrient density of our foods. It has taken us over 3yrs to create our solution, which combines detailed nutrition knowledge, deep tech expertise and uncommon math skills.
Our key advantage is the aforementioned expertise, which is not easily duplicated.
We envision 4 separate revenue streams;
1.Subscription fees ($2.99/month) via SaaS based model; 2. Contextual advertising (health and nutrition-related adds); 3. Revenues via high-grade supplements recommendations based on a person's individual NuQ Scores and their respective nutrient deficiencies; 4. Eventually (second year) a B2B model.
The cost structure is minimal (incremental) due to our ability to share the information with multiple constituencies without additional costs.
It starts as a Freemium but it evolves into a SaaS-based model we call NaaS (Nutients-as-a-Service) for consumers who want to establish their personalized NuQ Score so they can actively manage the quality of their foods.
