Kotani Pay is a technology stack that enables Blockchain protocols, dApps, and Blockchain FinTech companies to integrate seamlessly into Africa's local payment channels.

We have processed $400,000 to date by serving 2000+ users from 20 business clients in the 2 countries we're currently live in - Kenya and Ghana.

We are solving the problem of access for the 700M Africans, with SMS phones, who can't interact with modern internet based financial services powered by Blockchain technology.

Our service addresses the problem of lack of internet access and inability to access the blockchain and cryptocurrencies by using USSD technology. USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) is a Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) protocol that is used to send text messages. USSD can be used on feature phones (push button phones), low end and high end smartphones. There is no limitation for platforms who have end users that predominantly rely on smartphones. For users with low end smartphones, there is no need for installing an application.

Kotani Pay uses a B2B2C model ahere we charge between 1% and 2% of the value transacted when moving from a digital asset (stablecoins) to fiat currency.
