Vibeji is a managed platform that connects experience seekers with passionate hosts. Our goal is to create a one-stop destination for the best experiences, making them more accessible to the public and easier to book. By focusing on the local market, we capture the need of young people to broaden their horizon, adopting new skills and create meaningful connections. At the same time, we also empower young people to monetize their passion, hobbies or skills by sharing it with others.
Current Status
We are a fully functional tech platform, which supports the user for searching, booking, communication, and payment processing, all centralized in our web-app. We currently have around 10.000 users, observe a 12-15.000 monthly website visitors and aim to have 1000 monthly bookings on our platform by the end of the year.
Problem or Opportunity
According to a research by Momentum Worldwide in 2019, 76% of customers are more willing to spend their money on experiences than materials. The winners of this trend were the travel industry and event market up with exponential growth rates up until the year 2020 before Covid spread throughout the world.
While these previous winners observed an extrem backlash, the need for young people to spend their money on non-material and high-experiential values didn't change and is expected to rebounce in the near future.
Now, if we look at the Vietnamese experience market, most platforms today target the travel market, such as Klook, Traveloka and Airbnb Experiences. There is no central platform yet, who taps into the needs of young Vietnamese milennials and GenZ for entertainment and skill-learning.
Solution (product or service)
Vibeji aims to become the number one destination to find new experiences in every city in Vietnam. Our platform doesn't exclude travelers as potential target customers, but rather includes them in a holistic lifestyle app, no matter if they are currently traveling or in their own city. Or to put it into simpler terms, there are more things to do in Ho Chi Minh City than visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels or the Mekong Delta.
