DigitARCH, project developed by Rdots, is a digital database to simplify the way for managing, studying and protecting the Building Heritage.
These buildings are an expression of our culture and, for this reason, they are so precious.
Many times, important and historical architectures are damaged or even destroyed because of our negligence and, unfortunately, they cannot be repaired or rebuilt.
So, it’s very important to protect the memories of these monuments forever and to study them for improving the knowledge of ourselves and our culture.
We started digitARCH in 2018, and we made the pilot test in 2019. After that, we evaluated the feasibility of the project in local and International contests obtaining excellent results. Right now we looking for someone who believes in our project for expanding our database/services.

So, it’s very important to protect the memories of these monuments forever and to study them for improving the knowledge of ourselves and our culture. Using a Laser Scanner it is possible to acquire the data to construct the "digital copy" of these artifacts. This "copy" contains all the information useful to create a complete documentation of the Heritage and permit to save their “3D Image” forever.

When DigitARCH will be developed, it will be useful for many purposes: Users (university, researchers, etc.): could use it for research studies to have high knowledge of these great cultural expressions. Local Authority: could use it to improve the management and conservation process and to promote the Building Heritage all over the world. Private companies could use DigitARCH to optimize the planning process, to promote investments, and to develop products based on this data (3D models, 2D Drawings, VR applications, gaming, etc.). So: Education: it will be possible to create an online educational web database constituted by new tools for learning • New Industries: the project will give birth to opportunities to create new companies able to develop high-technological products based on the digitalization • Governance: local government can improve the efficiency of the cultural Heritage management • Travel & Exploration: this system will create a great virtual and augmented experience

Advantages or differentiators
Only a few nations in the world started this digitalization process of their own historical heritage, but even in these cases, this is limited to a very little part of representative buildings. DigitARCH wants to extend and simplify this process to a big part of our Heritage sites and to promote it all over the world. Our strength consists of having the skills to manage the entire process, from the acquisition of the data to the realization of the deliverables made from it.
DigitARCH will have 2 kinds of users: • Free users who will have access to low-quality data • Paid users who will have access to the entire database without restrictions. One of the main sources of income will come from selling products made from 3D digitalization at private and public companies or local governments.
Money will be spent on
We need money/partnership to buy hi-tech equipment and to cover the initial cost of the projects.
