Czech Republic is among the countries with the highest colon cancer incidence and lowest interest of people about food quality and safety. We decided to change the course. It's simple. Just scan a food product to find out all its secrets. An independent food score system based on up to 70 parameters covers the food's ORIGIN, HEALTH IMPACTS and SUSTAINABILITY.

With up to 70 parameters, Foodgroot provides the most complex food scoring system in the world. In the second stage, Foodgroot brings full food personalisation model based on human bio profiling that will result in personalised food recommendations.

Sustainability plays strong role in our concept. We focus on tracking the environmental impacts of all food-related production, distribution, packaging, waste, food origin, extend of processing etc. Today, the customer has only a few limited ways to watch and evaluate such data. In our solution this will be integral part of the solution.

Our solution provides entry into the "future of retail". A fully personalized and informed customers get tailored recommendations based on their bio profile and the quality of the products. Customer-centric solution directly integrated into the proprietary retail eco system.

Competitors

Yuka.io - this app, based in France, translates Nutri-Score to the consumers. For us, Nutri-Score is just one of the up to 70 parameters taken into consideration.

No other such sophisticated and complex solutions have been found.

Today, an average food consumer is dependent on information from marketing (often misleading) and/or data on the package. Consumer - unaware of the industry context - is not able to do a qualified choice during the shopping procees. Foodgroot disrupts the food industry with data to empower the EU consumers with clear food scores and food production transparency data in a simple application.
