Healthcare providers of various types can list their practice on our platform. By offering a robust suite of tools and features, we want to stand out from the competition as the most inclusive and innovative platform for healthcare providers and patients to connect.
Current Status
We have a working prototype that we will be releasing publicly on the web in June. We are currently working on our native mobile apps which will be released on the app stores later this year.
Market
The trend toward digital healthcare is accelerating. Within the last couple of years, 80% of patients turn to the internet for healthcare recommendations. 45% of patients request appointments with doctors via digital means. 66% of healthcare systems provide online scheduling tools.
Problem or Opportunity
We believe patients need better tools to find the best healthcare providers. Patients can easily get lost in a sea of recommendations, and search results, without ever getting relevant information in return.
Solution (product or service)
We are creating the simplest most user friendly way for patients to connect with the best providers. As a part of this, we’re offering healthcare providers the best way to list their practice online and operate their business remotely.
Competitors
Our competition is still relatively young, the most established of which is ZocDoc - founded in 2007 which now has a 2 billion dollar valuation. We believe that we offer something substantially different and that we can compete.
Advantages or differentiators
We are first to market with the matching and filtering in the style of a dating app as applied to patients and Healthcare Providers. We offer a full suite of tools for healthcare providers of different types, not just doctors, to connect with and carry-out their practice. We are priced better with a freemium model
Finance
At $1,000 per year, with a million potential healthcare providers that’s a total addressable market of $1billion dollars year over year in the US alone. Globally the market is even bigger.
Business model
We plan on marketing this locally and growing state by state. We expect year over year growth once we gain traction to get to our valuation goal within five years. As with many SAAS businesses we expect exponential growth at some point.
Money will be spent on
Our first priority is to stabilize and scale our web application and build out its native counterparts. We want to start gaining traction within the next few weeks. As we onboard our first customers we want to test for resilience while also adding useful features in response to customer feedback. In the long term… We want paying customers! We plan on starting locally on the west coast and growing from there. We plan to add new practitioners and practice types as we grow. We plan on continuously optimizing our algorithms and introducing AI to make it even easier for patients to connect with the right healthcare providers.
During this pandemic especially, we know we have something valuable to offer the market. We are being careful with HIPAA compliance, and regulations, but that remains a risk in the healthcare industry. We are aware of competitors, like ZocDoc, Doxy.me, and TeleDoc, that may be able to gain more traction and pivot in our direction.
