Idea

Affordable traffic monitor for reporting speeding in neighborhoods. Provide information to citizens so they are armed for discussions with municipalities to take care of speeding problem. Our machine learning models accurately report the speed, count and in the future type and location/lane of the vehicles.

Current Status

We have developed the radar sensor and are now tuning our machine learning model for accurate speed and counting. We are beginning to do trial testing with customers towards finalizing the product.

Market

The market for our product is as little as $100M (WW) if only select concerned citizens purchased the product. Or it can be as large as $1.6B (US only) is municipalities start purchasing it for coverage of every city block providing them with data better than what Google or Apple provide.

Problem or Opportunity

People are speeding through neighborhoods, citizens are frustrated, and municipalities are stretched to far to do anything about it. Current methods for detecting the speeding are too expensive ($2,500) for broad deployment.

Solution (product or service)

Our small traffic monitor (5" x 5" x 3") detects the traffic, handles all the edge computing for the traffic statistics, and can relay the information to the cloud for visualization. An app allows configuration or viewing of the data so the citizen can tell the municipality how bad of a problem it is and when it's happening. Our product is very similar to Ring except we're mounted on the sidewalk looking at the vehicle traffic and in the future sidewalk traffic.

Advantages or differentiators

Simpler to use and install solution using machine learning at a price point neighborhoods or homeowner associations can afford them.

Finance

Our product will sell for approximately $500 and will come with a subscription service in the range of $2-3/month. We expect sales in the first year to be approximately $1,000,000.

Business model

We sell hardware with a subscription for the data analytics similar to Ring.

Money will be spent on

Final product development and market launch of traffic monitor system and next generation radar sensor based on phased array technology.

Offer for investor

Have a Seed round open with a Convertible Note at 2 year term, 5% interest, 20% discount, and $4,000,000 valuation.
