all of the social networks i'm familiar with have serious flaws, and i'm curious why there aren't more social networks like the one i'm referring to in this text. i have experience with Twitter, fb, Instagram, Reddit, DeviantArt, pikabu..
in basic the net will be more like Twitter (short posts) but with the good features from other networks and the opportunity to post big (expandable) posts
the network will be content creators and content sellers friendly (like DeviantArt)
the network will have a user rating system and communities. it will help talented creators get to the top faster
Current Status
something is already done. the first very minimal test edition with a lame (my) design needs a few days of my work to be finished
Problem or Opportunity
fix of weak places of existing social networks. see Competitors and Existing Alternatives paragraph below
it is possible to make users simultaneously make posts from the platform to all their other social networks with one post
i have more many good ideas about this network. btw, i made something like Twitter before Twitter appeared. i closed that project for some not-ordinary reasons
Solution (product or service)
i am an experienced developer and creator, and i have many good ideas. i won 1st place in the programming Olympics in my town (15 schools). i won 3 Heroes of Might & Magic 3 championships in Latvia. also, by myself alone i have made a successful self-learning poker AI
-Twitter has no big posts, no rating system, no personal content organization system, no opportunities to sell content, no communities
-TikTok is not friendly to very good (top) creations that "expire" kind of fast
-Facebook is not friendly to public chat of many users like Twitter, and big posts should be more like an exception.
-Twitter has bad opportunities for people with good content but with no followers to go up fast. a bad system of communities
-DeviantArt, among the mentioned competitors, has a content selling system and is a good competitor. it lacks the importance of text-oriented posts and Twitter-like discussions
-commenting Instagram posts, a user cannot post an image. no communities. having no friends reduces your chances of becoming popular
-Reddit is good. but its moderation is often unfriendly to new content posters who have not yet earned points. i don't like its heavy design. no option for selling content
Finance
i don't think this project is a utopia. the not very talented Zuckerberg succeeded with Facebook having no decent innovative features. and Brin made Google what it is based on a simple PageRank algorithm
i think paid features, premium accounts, and % from art sales (this part is like on DeviantArt) can generate a huge income, which is hard for me to predict
Money will be spent on
hiring designer, developer and server
Offer for investor
something like this:
if a month profit is less than 1000$ investor gets 50%
if a if a month profit is (1000-10000$) investor gets 30%
...
social network may not become popular for people may just don't like it or have no wish to create an account in another social network
