Whipair turn mobility into feasibile and easy to manage, that's to say customer-centered. The two key points of this project is to turn car user approach fully digital and renewed. The business is based on a unique solution not already available on the market, that allows the customer do anything online about his car and even more to get services he can't have without Whipair, in order to improve his experience when facing car necessity.
Current Status
At the moment 20 customers between recurring and random payments. The MVP is about to be improved and the business has to be enlarged in Italy and outside, based on the business plan.
Market
It's potentially suitable for car users worldwide, especially for major car-dependent countries like Italy or USA. Speaking of countries like the US, we have to take into consideration the high level of people using marketplaces that's already used to an online approach. We can think to the Amazon proposal for US where it's already possible to get cars online through the website, as delivery is not already available. Since Whipair is much more than a marketplace, services like test drive in-home, car delivery and car moving for car maintenance needs can definitely enpower this solution, whether for those who lives in large cities and those who lives far fr om them, by fitting diverse needs based on car user's daily routine.
Car-dependent and high level of marketplace usage countries are criteria that if combined result in the best places wh ere to enlarge this business.

Many of us need a car or even depend on it, as vehicles are crucial in our society. Despite such a necessity, the most common market proposals are standard and tailored for dealers more than car users. Ownership, rental, leasing, they are all approached by clients more in-person than online. They include processes to comply with or to keep in mind that sometimes sucks, they all share possible issues about the vehicle or its management. All that is part of an habit that keep car users away from an easier, feasible and cheaper approach to mobility.

Firstly, make the whole car user journey available online. No need to go around to choose, test or manage vehicles. Then, a new business model that mixes all benefits of currently major market proposals and even added a new service we came up with to make car users save money if they want! Similar to the car sharing, but easier and improved.

Right now there is not an alternative as the business model we crafted is not already provided. Based on our proposal and the current market standards we can surely put car users habits as the highest competitors. Create a customer-centered business is not the only things to do, as turning it into something people need and like is much harder. That's why it will be important the way we'll face customers in order to deploy the way they can't do without it.

The advantages to be the first is well known. Again, this market proposal gives the benefits that a fully online approach grates, as we already know speaking of e-commerce: all in a screen and all available anytime, everywhere. Then, the chance for the user to save money through the car sharing mode (pair to save), that only requires a few minutes: accepting the request through one minute procedure online, give the car to the Whipair operator that will come over him where he asked for, then take it back in the same way he deop it off. An innovative way to act that allows the customer to spend less but with a car that feels already his one.

The business model is based on a rent to buy contract. It allows customers to receive any service they ask for, while they are sure that when the contract will be over they’ll be the real car owner. This solution makes the customer feels like an owner from the beginning.
