Resollant makes low-cost clean hydrogen—cheaper than grey, no subsidies needed—plus graphite to secure U.S. supply chains. $200B TAM. 1 TPD pilot with 4 oil majors planned for 2026 in Gulf Coast.
Current Status
We are exploring a 1 ton-per-day pilot in 2026 with four major oil and gas companies and a carbon trading partner. To ensure strong product-market fit, we’ve conducted over 30 voice-of-customer interviews with industry leaders including Aramco, ExxonMobil, Shell, Marathon Petroleum, ADNOC, Chevron, Dow, Evonik, SABIC, and SK. We’ve also been accepted into top-tier climate and energy accelerators including Rice Alliance Clean Energy Accelerator (Class 5), Greentown Labs, VentureWell Aspire Climatetech 2025, and the Energy Tech Nexus Liftoff Program, and Rose Rock Bridge.
Problem or Opportunity
Refineries rely on hydrogen to produce fuels and chemicals, but new grey hydrogen capacity is stalled due to strict air permitting. Meanwhile, blue and green hydrogen cost 2–3x more, making them economically unviable. Refineries are urgently seeking low-cost, drop-in alternatives that won’t trigger new permit reviews.
Solution (product or service)
Resollant solves this by offering a compact, plug-and-play plasma reactor that produces clean hydrogen at a lower cost than grey—without emissions or combustion. It’s an easy-to-install solution that debottlenecks production and keeps permitting risk off the table. Without additional hydrogen, refineries risk cutting output just as demand for fuels and chemicals is rising.
Business model
Resollant is working toward a 1 TPD pilot with a strategic oil & gas partner and carbon offtaker in 2026, followed by a 10 TPD plug-and-play commercial demo in 2027 and a 250 TPD plant in 2029. We expect to sell compact 10 TPD reactors and license our 250 TPD system with critical equipment supply and EPC integration. We’re also exploring a Hydrogen-as-a-Service model and targeting customers who currently purchase hydrogen from industrial gas suppliers like Linde and Air Products. Our primary customers include refineries, petrochemical plants, and producers in the steel, cement, and aluminum.
