We are taking a breakthrough way of producing hydrogen via decoupled electrolysis from extensive research to a highly commercial product. A safe and stable way to produce low cost green hydrogen.
Current Status
Sub system prototypes and have been on test using 50% funding from a government grant ($650k) and 50% from a small pre seed raise ($650k) and we are now bring the two sub-systems together into a fully integrated prototype. We will then begin build of a scaled up demonstrator version.
Problem or Opportunity
Our product solves the current challenges of producing low cost free hydrogen at scale which is currently hampered by inefficient, complex and fragile equipment which is not able to meet commercial production demands.
Solution (product or service)
We decouple the Oxygen and Hydrogen production into two separate steps using a liquid mediator to store the hydrogen (Chemically). The hydrogen is then released at pressure without needing power and at pressure removing compression being required. Our system is lower cost to build as it is simpler with less noble metals and can run on non-purified water. It can produce green hydrogen at scale for a lower lost and in a much more reliable and safer way.
Business model
We will initially sell containerised size systems for lower volume applications such as back up power and combined heat and power plants which will support the fastest path to revenue. We will then scale again to support large scale sites which are longer term builds. We are also exploring licensing agreements.
