STATSdraft is a new take on fantasy sports that can be set up in 2 minutes and played one game at a time. It can also be played during the post-season when fantasy is over but fandom is at a high.
Current Status
We currently have a live beta and are looking to begin a pre-seed round to iterate on product development and achieve product-market fit in the next 12 months.
Problem or Opportunity
We founded STATSdraft because we saw two problems with traditional fantasy sports: They take too much time to play, and they can’t be played in the post-season.
Solution (product or service)
STATSdraft solves these issues by allowing fans to draft team statistics – such as fewest turnovers or most passing yards – instead of players. No more spending hours on research, a complicated draft and mid-season trades. Our users can challenge their friends to a single-game contest and know the winner by the end of the game. This makes STATSdraft the ideal fantasy game for major events – like the Super Bowl — and in-person gatherings — such as contests at sports bars or hanging out with friends. Plus, this approach helps users understand the only stat that really matters: how teams win.
Business model
We have a freemium model. On the B2C side, will charge for premium upgrades and data to help users learn and gamble smarter. On the B2B side, we will sell a venue subscription to sports bars and restaurants as well as advertising.
