A collaborative platform that uses IoT and Data Analysis to connect machinery owners with farmers that wish to rent
Current Status
We have manage to close more than 2000 rental operations (matchs) with sales in 2021 almost reaching US $1MM. We are currently developing a scaling plan to expand AgroMatch's ecosystem to other countries in LATAM, starting with Mexico in 2023
Problem or Opportunity
Idle capacity of agriculture machinery in LATAM, that reaches 60% of the year (ie. 7 months a year, machines are not being used).
At the other side, the low access to machinery for rental with a high quality service and professional attention.
Solution (product or service)
We have developed a full in-house platform that connects demand and supply of agriculture machinery for rental. After the connection is made, AgroMatch also coordinates all the operation involved, including transportation of the machines and mechanical assistance in case of failure.
Business model
Our average ticket is of $1,000 US which involves the rental of 1 machine for 1 month. On this transaction, AgroMatch takes a 30% commission to coordinate the operation an make sure that the machines leaves and return in the optimal conditions.
