Biliki - A mobile marketplace that lets users create and sell itineraries. Local SMEs publish their business on the app map and they are visible on the nearby tours based on their location.
Current Status
We have more than 15,000 active users and we partner with 60 companies, including Toyota Georgia, The University of Georgia, TBC Bank, tripcars.com, Payze, PSP pharmacy, Georgian Bus. We have more than 1000 local SME (Restaurants, Hotels, Stores and others) published in Biliki. Most popular Georgian hiking clubs already published their tours in Biliki. Guide, and travel companies are already selling their tours. 500 tour sales were registered within the first month after launching the marketplace feature.

Our business industry is online travel. The tourism market is rapidly increasing in Georgia. Georgia received 9,3 Milion international travelers and reached 3 billion US dollars as a market revenue. Increased travel market creates a demand for online services in Georgia. The global online travel market size is $1,1 trillion, Serviceable Available Market is $180 million and Serviceable obtainable market $5,7 million. Our customer is an 18-35 age traveler who seeks to travel on their own. Despite our product being interesting and attractive for all types of travelers, we plan to focus on adventure tourism during the first year. Based on the Tourism Administration of Georgia, 21% of foreign visitors and 4.6% of Georgian travelers are interested in adventure travel. In total, 1.5 million travelers are adventure lovers based on the latest analysis. Mainly they are coming from Israel, Germany, Poland, Ukraine and Baltic Countries. This number is rapidly increasing and we plan to target this specific audience at the first stage. They are interested in Georgian trails, hiking, climbing, extreme. They require reliable information and assistant tool that gathers all necessary information in one space, which will help them during travel planning and while traveling. This reliable tool is Biliki App.
Problem or Opportunity
300 million outdoor travel visits are conducted every year, globally based on 2019 results. This number increases by 15% every year. International studies show - 80% of these visitors prefer to travel on their own, without guides or travel companies. So they need a mobile guide which can provide itineraries, destinations, hints and travel services in one space. On the other hand travel companies can sell their services only to the remaining 20%. They need a tool to expand their market.
Solution (product or service)
A mobile marketplace, Biliki (Udemy for itineraries), where local guides can create and sell digital versions of their tours to those 80% who preferred to travel on their own and did not buy their service before. These travelers receive information of route, itinerary, places, hints and many more in one space for a very cheap price. Purchased tours can be downloaded for offline use and increase safety by following predefined routes. Tours can be created once and sold multiple times as in Udemy video lessons can be created once and sold multiple times.

Advantages or differentiators
The main advantage of the app is ready-made itineraries enriched with information about travel sites and hints that are created for specific tours. Photos and tour types help users to identify the tour difficulty. Travel sites are enriched with interesting stories and photos so the user can increase awareness about the place they visit. Accommodation and car can be found based on the tour, so the user can easily book the services specifically for the desired tour. Integrated booking.com and car rental sites make this process even more attractive. An integrated 5-day weather forecast helps the user to select optimal days for the tour. Users have the ability to download the tour offline and follow the route even without having internet. The emergency call button increases safety.
Finance
Our target is to have $80,000 in revenue by the end of 2020 which will bring us to a break-even point. Based on our forecast we will have a revenue of $2.1 million within the year of 2024, which will generate $1.8 million of gross profit.

The price of each tour ranges from $2 to $10 and we take 50% commission out of every transaction.

The innovative start-up can be followed by certain risks. Today the team lacks the high-level knowledge in the marketing field and we plan to fill this gap after raising sufficient funds. Moreover, internal and external political instabilities can be a risk of the decreasing number of travelers to Georgia, which will be translated to the lack of application users. On the other hand, the current team and potential new members will ensure product stability and development. Tourism development and an annually increasing number of visitors is considered as an opportunity, which can have an important impact on product awareness and success. One of the biggest opportunities is an unlimited area of the industry, which gives us the possibility to spread our borders and cover travel routes of other countries.
