Maphi

Maphi is the next step in digital mathematical education. It takes practicing math to the modern age by digitising written mathematics. Students can find their own solutions to their problems, while receiving immediate feedback and smart assistance. The first Version of Maphi has launched and is live in the iOS App Store. The Android version is set to launch next month. In the future we will add many more features and content.

For many jobs in the information age math and mathematical thinking is one of the most important skills acquired during primary and secondary education. However learning and practicing this skill can be difficult and frustrating as mistakes are easily made and no immediate feedback is there to support the students.

The main alternative to Maphi is personal tutoring, which is expensive and time consuming. There are a number of math apps and content available online, however most are simple digital adaptations of offline content.

Maphi is based on a unique computer algebra system that has been optimised touch control and human readable solutions. If you get stuck a step-by-step guide can be activated for immediate assistance. This turns solving math problems into a fun game and allows students to intuitively find their own solutions to math problems.

Maphi is free to download and use occasionally, but intensive use requires a monthly subscription.
