Healthigo simplifies the booking process, sending alerts and reminders, helps discover the best health & wellness offers, and keeps users informed with latest health-related news.

For health care providers, Healthigo helps increase visibility, improves patient engagement, increases collaboration and provides actionable insights.

Our unique partnerships with organizations in the geo-mapping, insurance and transportation domains enable a larger cross-section of society to easily connect with healthcare providers. 

Market

The GCC healthcare market is growing 7% annually and is expected to cross $32 Billion in out-patient services, which is the market we address.

In the UAE, healthcare expenditure stands at 19 Billion in 2018 and expected to touch 27 Billion by 2020. There are 53 Million doctor visits per year by 11 Million residents of UAE. We aim to capture about 1% of this market over 2 years, reaching 530,000 appointments through our platform.

KSA, MENA and Levant will be the natural expansion areas over 5 years.

For Healthcare Providers, managing and retaining existing patient base while attracting new business, optimizing operations and utilizing time optimally, are challenges faced on a daily basis. Additionally, providers need to communicate with patients, manage their reputation, build revenues and have a seamless platform to manage these activities.

Care seekers currently need to use multiple channels and approaches, from finding the right doctor based on their insurance plan, booking an appointment, managing health profiles to post-treatment engagement. These result is incorrect information and adds to stress.

Healthigo is the only platform that connects all stakeholders in a patient’s journey on a single platform, sealmessly. 

For health care providers Healthigo helps enhance visibility, improves patient engagement, increases collaboration and provides actionable insights to deliver the best healthcare experience to patients and care seekers.

For care seekers, Healthigo eases the discovery experience, smoothens the booking process (pre, during and post), sends alerts and reminders, keeps informed with latest personalized health & wellness news and much more. 

Competitors

In UAE, there are few niche players in the health-tech space addressing specific aspects of either appointment booking, tele medicine, or wellness packages and news.

Some of the companies in the Listings and Booking space are Doctoruna, Davva, Mytabib, Viso, Altibbi and Okadoc, while Health at Hand, HeyDoc and MobileDoctors are in the Telemedicine area. These companies address specific market segments, do not address the complete patient journey, nor do they have as quick and large traction we have had.

Advantages or differentiators

Healthigo is a disruptive health and wellness platform that connects patients to stakeholders to give a holistic and well-rounded patient experience, covering all aspects of the healthcare journey.

We have successfully taken on the challenging task of mapping insurance plans with the healthcare provider ecosystem, which is not available in the region. This in itself provides a big benefit to end-users.

Healthigo also benefits providers by optimizing their processes and reducing cost, thereby provisioning better care and outcomes. Benefits like pre-visit form, feedback manager, subsidy manager and analytical insights combine to offer a unique solution to managing health.

Our partnerships with industry stakeholders allow us to gain market share quickly and cost effectively. Most of these partnerships are with industry leading players and are time bound exclusive arrangements giving us a big first mover advantage.

Finance

Our financial model is based on subscription to our platform by healthcare providers. Healthigo – Provider portal consists of 3 main modules:-

Appointment Booking – pay per patient referral model - $8 per appointment.

Engagement – subscription per location - $270 per facility location per month.

Analytics – subscription per service – Incident based pricing.

Our App is currently free to use for care seekers and patients.

Our projection is to achieve $4 Million through 530,000 appointment bookings over a 2 year period, spread across all healthcare providers on our platform. Other revenues will be over and above.

Business model

Healthigo firmly believes in strategic partnerships that help achieve higher results for all. Our Provider and Corporate partnerships directly increase engagement with patients and care seekers; while our community partnerships with leading consumer facing applications help address a bigger audience.

Using our platform, healthcare providers can enhance their visibility, acquire new patients and provide a better patient experience. Additionally, the platform provides a range of patient engagement touch points like feedback management and reputation management.

Providers can also take informed decisions based on data analytics and population health comparisons.

We aim to address audiences through the following medium and partnerships:
Providers - Through direct sales, channel sales, referral programs.
Partnered User Base - Partnerships with insurance and TPAs, mapping and transportation service providers.
Direct User Base – Through digital and social media marketing, events, community outreach programs and corporate connect programs.

3 - Further develop the product and analytical capabilities

Risks

Risk of competition is in any industry, but our business model, holistic offerings backed by offline engagements pose a barrier to execution for most players, thus reducing risk on this front.

Technology developments and integration with leading players in the market are part of our process and we look at new ways to use technologies to improve lives.
