Agents made writing code fast. Reviewing it is the new bottleneck. Straion makes agents follow your rules as they write, every rule a verdict on record, so reviewers check logic, not rule violations.
Current Status
Live product with paying customers in Europe. Pilots with a premium kitchen-appliance maker (paid), a global German automotive company and a European bank. MongoDB is trialing Straion; Dynatrace is a design partner. Raised $1.6M from Marathon Venture Capital (Feb 2026), backed by aws and tech2b. Founders bring 30+ years combined in dev tooling (Netlify, Dynatrace, Elastic). Now in the Bay Area until Oct 30 to open the US, starting with autonomous vehicles and drones. Not raising right now; here for customers and portfolio intros.
Problem or Opportunity
AI coding agents now write much of production code, but they don’t reliably follow a company’s coding standards or regulatory rules (MISRA, ISO 26262, OWASP). The code compiles, looks fine and quietly breaks the rules. Today the only safety net is review after the fact, which makes senior engineers the bottleneck and still lets violations through. In embedded software a missed rule isn’t a hotfix, it’s a recall. So regulated companies must choose: skip AI agents and fall behind, or use them and carry risk they can’t prove they controlled.
Solution (product or service)
Straion is the trust layer for AI coding agents in regulated industries. Teams define their standards and regulatory rules once, centrally in their own Git. While Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or Codex works, Straion feeds the agent exactly the rules for that task and checks its plan and code against them. Every rule gets a recorded verdict: met, fixed, or an exception signed off by a named person. Code reaches review already compliant, and auditors get one report. Benchmark on Elastic’s Kibana: ~90% rule adherence with Straion vs ~5% with a static AGENTS.md.
Business model
B2B SaaS, priced per developer seat and billed annually. We land with a paid pilot on the customer’s own codebase, expand across their engineering teams, then upsell enterprise tiers for audit reporting and self-hosting. Founder-led sales to VPs of Engineering and CISOs. Wedge: regulated embedded software (automotive, appliances, industrial) in Europe, then autonomous vehicles and drones in the US, then fintech, banking and healthcare. Every new regulation or coding standard a customer adopts adds rules, and more value, to the platform.
