Alppy helps teachers personalize learning by identifying student gaps and creating the right exercises for each student, using textbooks, teacher input, and AI.
Current Status
We have a working product and have conducted dozens of teacher interviews and user tests, with very positive feedback so far. We are currently iterating on the product and have meetings scheduled to explore potential school pilots across two Swiss cantons.
Problem or Opportunity
Teachers want to personalize learning, but doing it manually for every student takes too much time. In practice, most teachers still rely on the same worksheets and exercises for the whole class, even when students have very different gaps and learning needs.
Solution (product or service)
Alppy helps teachers identify what each student needs to practice and create personalized exercises accordingly. Teachers can use exercises from their textbooks, create their own, or generate new ones with AI. Alppy then uses student performance to continuously adapt what should come next.
Business model
We plan to offer Alppy as a subscription-based SaaS product for schools and teachers. The long-term model is primarily B2B, with schools or educational institutions paying per teacher, classroom, or school license.
