Areal Vision lets military and investigation teams turn footage they already have into 3D workspaces.
Current Status
Live since April 2026 with six design partners (including the elite 10th Mobile Border Detachment, a ground drone training school). Weekly releases: renderer optimisation for iPhones and M-series Macs (adaptive resolution, framerate, quality), annotation and map-layer tooling. Beta September 2026: fully self-serve, clean outputs, auto-rejection of unsuitable input. Commercial product November 2026: security, team management, audit logging for institutional buyers.
Problem or Opportunity
Frontline analysts, security teams and investigators need a current view of places they cannot safely enter. Today they piece it together from raw footage frame by frame, hours per scene, and still lose the spatial layout. They already have the footage; what they lack is a way to turn it into a combined scene they can quickly analyze.
Solution (product or service)
Areal Vision turns low-quality video into a navigable 3D scene on a shared map where teams annotate, measure and collaborate. It runs in the cloud on any device, with GPU or not, and fully on-device for classified or offline use. Built for footage other tools reject: shaky drone clips, helmet cam, dashcam, social media.
Business model
Per-seat annual SaaS subscriptions, $500–2,000 a seat, with a free trial; one paid seat lets a whole formation view and collaborate free. We avoid usage-based billing, a non-starter in defense, and adapt business model with market feedback.
