AZcare is the first HIPAA-compliant AI communication agent built for patients—scheduling appointments and resolving billing on their behalf
Current Status
We are in a pre-revenue stage. The founding team previously built BabbleLabs, acquired by Cisco in 2020, which gives us a proven track record of scaling AI platforms from zero to a successful exit.
Problem or Opportunity
Healthcare today is fragmented, complicated, and time‑consuming.
Digitization and EMR advancements are built for providers
Health records are siloed, limiting visibility to make informed decisions
Patients still waste billions of hours each year on hold
Solution (product or service)
The first HIPAA‑compliant AI Communication Agent that acts on behalf of patients.
AZ communicates using any modality (phone, fax, email, web portal, app, or integration API) on behalf of the patient.
AZ finds the right doctors, schedules appointments, coordinates care, mitigates billing disputes and enables insurance changes.
AZ aggregates, stores, manages, and shares patient health information to enable better care.
Business model
We charge a $20 per member per month (PMPM) technology fee. Our focus is on self-funded employers in finance, professional services, healthcare, and manufacturing (~38.5M employees, ~$9.2B annual opportunity). Early go-to-market targets mid-to-large self-funded employers through HR and benefits platforms, and partnerships with Administrative Service Organizations (ASOs). We aim to capture ~400K employees (1% market share), representing ~$96M in early-phase annual revenue potential.
