Idea

FitAI is a mobile fitness app with AI that delivers personalized, safe, and motivating workouts — without a live trainer. It bridges the gap between generic apps and personal coaching through a smart assistant that adapts to the user’s goals, level, and condition. The AI analyzes form, adjusts plans, and keeps users engaged through behavioral support.
Problem: most users abandon fitness apps due to injuries, poor results, or low motivation.

Current Status

FitAI is currently at the idea stage. We have a clear product vision, validated market needs, and a strong founder with domain expertise. What we need now is funding to build the initial prototype and launch core development.

FitAI is a mobile fitness app powered by artificial intelligence that acts as a personal trainer in your pocket. Currently in the concept stage, the product has a clear technical vision and strong market potential.

Competitors

At the moment, there are no direct competitors that combine voice-based AI coaching, real-time form correction using the smartphone camera, and adaptive workout planning in one integrated fitness product. However, there are several indirect competitors and substitutes currently used by our target audience.

Leading fitness apps like Freeletics, Nike Training Club, Fitbod, and Fitify dominate the general market with large user bases. Freeletics has over 20 million users and generates more than $50 million in annual revenue. Nike Training Club, backed by brand capital, reaches over 10 million users globally. Fitify and Fitbod together serve around 5–10 million users, generating approximately $15 million in combined revenue. These apps focus mainly on static video-based workouts and basic plan generation. They do not provide real-time correction, voice interaction, or personalized motivation — all of which are essential to long-term fitness success.

Current substitutes used by our audience include YouTube workouts (free but impersonal), generic fitness apps (limited adaptation and engagement), personal trainers (highly effective but expensive and not scalable, costing $50–$80 per session), and self-planned training routines (usually ineffective due to lack of knowledge and consistency).

This gap creates a clear opportunity. FitAI is positioned to become the first solution that is smarter than basic apps, more affordable than personal trainers, and more human than static content. According to Statista, the global fitness app market exceeded $17.6 billion in 2024 and is growing at a rate of 14–20% annually. The AI-driven wellness segment alone is expected to grow over 40% year-over-year through 2027. FitAI aims to lead this shift by delivering real coaching intelligence — not just workout content — through scalable technology.

Advantages or differentiators

While FitAI’s core technologies are based on publicly available advancements (e.g. pose estimation, NLP, mobile AI integration), our unfair advantage lies in the integration, behavioral logic, and UX orchestration — not in raw technology alone.

What cannot be easily copied is the system-level design of FitAI as a true AI-powered coaching experience, rather than just another fitness content app. The product emphasizes four key differentiators:

Voice-first interaction: FitAI engages the user through real-time, natural voice dialogue — collecting context, offering motivation, and creating accountability. This creates a human-like connection, rarely present in current fitness apps.
Form correction via smartphone camera: Unlike typical apps that show videos, FitAI watches and evaluates user performance in real-time, giving feedback like a live trainer. This motion analysis is embedded seamlessly into the UX.
Adaptive planning and emotional intelligence: The system adjusts workouts based not only on performance, but also on self-reported mood, energy, and constraints — mimicking how a good coach responds to their client.
Behavioral retention model: FitAI incorporates subtle behavioral design (reminders, celebration, conversational nudges) to sustain long-term engagement — which most apps fail to achieve.
While individual features may be technically replicable, the holistic user experience, voice-led interface, and emotional adaptiveness form a unique combination. This is where we place our strategic focus — delivering not just fitness routines, but a relationship with the AI coach that guides, corrects, and supports users daily.

Money will be spent on

We are seeking pre-seed investment to turn FitAI from a validated concept into a functional MVP and prepare for early user testing and market entry. The funds will be used to build the core team, develop the product, and validate market traction.

Our estimated funding range is $15,000 to $55,000, which will be allocated across the following key areas:

Product Development – 50%
Frontend and backend development, AI motion analysis integration, and mobile functionality (iOS/Android).
UX/UI Design – 15%
User interface, experience flows, and visual identity to ensure intuitive interaction and user retention.
Testing & Analytics – 10%
Internal QA, user testing, and early analytics to improve product-market fit and measure engagement.
Marketing & Early Growth – 20%
Landing page, ad campaigns, social validation, and initial traction-building with early adopters.
Legal & Administrative – 5%
Business registration, IP protection, privacy policy, and accounting setup.
We aim to reach the MVP milestone within 3–4 months post-funding, followed by active user testing and a soft launch. These investments are critical for assembling a technical team, building initial infrastructure, and validating our assumptions with real users.

Offer for investor

At this stage, we are open to discussing equity terms based on the size of the investment, investor expertise, and strategic alignment.

We understand the importance of a fair and transparent deal structure, but prefer to finalize specific equity percentages during direct discussions. Our goal is to form a partnership that benefits both sides and supports long-term company growth.

We are also open to alternative formats, including convertible notes or SAFE agreements, depending on the investor’s preference.

The proposed equity share will be negotiated during the investment process.
