Idea

easyDacha is a gardening automotive planner, that saves time, keeps data, and breaks barriers to entering into gardening by providing AI/ ML guides on exactly what to do and when

Current Status

The team of 8 has been developing the MVP.

Market

TAM: US - $6B, Global - $18,1B
Customers:
1. Beginners Gardeners:
Plant Loss and Wasting Money: Gardeners often kill plants and waste money because they lack knowledge and time to learn. This leads to negative experiences, causing them to give up gardening altogether.
2. Experienced Gardeners:
Data loss: Keeping track of what’s planted and where, what’s been done, and what needs to be done and when is challenging, leading to disorganization, inefficiency, and loss of positive experiences that could be applied in the next season

Problem or Opportunity

Data loss, losing previous experience, a mess in records, the complexity of the process, lack of time to read a lot of information, and lack of positive results discourage people from gardening.
Gardeners track their gardens with Excel sheets or paper planners, with 5.4 million sold in the U.S. in 2022, experiencing a 12% growth in 2023

By simplifying the process, we empower more people to grow their own produce and share their surplus through a community food bank, supporting those in need

Solution (product or service)

Garden Scheme for tracking, automotive todos based on their zone, powered by machine learning and AI, guides users exactly what to do and when. It delivers a magic box with fertilizers and other goods in the right amount and on the date when needed.

Competitors

Seed to spoon -they have just shop and feature for community. User unfriendly, hard to understand what to do and how. They do not have a gardening scheme for planning.
Users comments:
It's expensive; I would pay $25 for it. The interface isn't user-friendly
no info about fertilizing

Planter - they have a scheme, but it is impossible to use. It doesn’t provide auto todos
Users comments:
It's a basic planner that doesn't allow drawing bed boundaries
no info about future harvest

SeedTime - they have good community and planner. But they don’t have the scheme for planning.

Advantages or differentiators

easyDacha differentiates itself from competitors, it's essential to highlight the unique blend of technology, user experience, and personalized guidance that sets it apart. Unlike competitors who primarily offer extensive databases that require users to self-learn, which is time-consuming and often not user-friendly, easyDacha focuses on a more intuitive and interactive approach. * User-Friendly Interface
* Personalized Gardening Tips
* Visual Garden Planning Tool
* Automated To-Dos Based on Climate and Moon Phases powered by machine learning and AI

Risks

1. Development team - if someone decides to leave, I will lose time (read money) to hire and teach a new one. Solution - outsource team for the first time.
2. Financial risk - the business model does not include having working capital in the account. There's a risk of not being able to pay salaries and cover the infrastructure costs for the app's operation. Solution - investments and a line of credit.
3. Political situation in the World, War risk. Solution - to launch as soon as possible to provide the tool for the customers to grow their own food and survive. For example, according to a 2021 study by the National Gardening Association, 18.3 million new gardeners were created in the United States during the Covid pandemic.
