Idea

Consolidated Cyber Security Platform & integrated service offering that protects, detects, & responds to threats (network, endpoint & cloud), meshed with a 24/7 Security Operations Centre ~600 US ARR.

Current Status

1.9m R 574k ARR up 500% from first launch year in 2021. Forecast 400% ARR growth over the next 24 months to 3,058m.Red Piranha (RP) built our capacity and maturity in the Australian domestic market with a recent launch private subsidiary in India. RP now has 20% revenue from International market with little to no marketing investment. We manufacture our own product both in Australia and India and have recently gained traction into the US and ready for investment to expand boots on ground in the US and other international markets. We are taking market share from Palo Alto / Fortinet and others.

Market

Red Piranha’s CSP is scalable from small business to medium to enterprise, govt. or defence. Red Piranha faces a TAM of $30bn (min just for network security alone), a SAM of $7.3bn, and a SOM of $150mn

Problem or Opportunity

Security leaders continue to be asked to do more with less — more demand for service, against a fast-changing threat landscape and insufficient technical talent. Too many cyber tools that focus on one single area, are not integrated, unmanned, across multiple panes of glass. Businesses can not keep up with all the tech.
Security platforms (XDR competitors) fail to effectively share data X control planes; leverage consolidation to define common policies and reduce gaps and vulnerabilities. Complexity has led to increased support/data costs, lower operational efficiency, poor security.

Solution (product or service)

A Consolidated Security Platform (CSP) and integrated service offering comprising of Red Piranhas Crystal Eye XDR (Extended Detection & Response) – proprietary, sovereign-built platform that protects, detects, & responds to threats across a business’ entire attack surface (network, endpoint and cloud), meshed with a 24x7 SOC, intelligence, risk management and consulting capabilities.

Competitors

More than 44% of the market is controlled by 3 companies – all based out of the US. Palo Alto, Cisco and Fortinet although none have a TRUE Consolidated Security Platform. Other vendors and/or "XDR alliances" where Extended Detection and Reporting (XDR) have taken a legacy approach in a vendor wrapper type model where they have;

Bolted on (through procurement / acquisition) a set of unintegrated or lightly integrated products in a buying package with multiple consoles / dashboards. Little to no integration and synergy.

XDR aggregates security data from multiple sources – when those sources are not integrated in synergy through security architecture then the data fails to capture and query the exploits.

Advantages or differentiators

Founded in 2015, Red Piranha has built its Consolidated Security Platform (CSP) from the ground up and our Crystal Eye (CE) propriety product is Australian owned and developed IP.

With International trademarks and patents & with a Defense Export Permit by the Australian Department of Defense, allowing it to export Crystal Eye technology to foreign governments.

With extensive IP building already completed and live testing right up to our commercial launch in 2021.

Red Piranha is ahead of its time with the evolution of our CSP and our CE product driven by architectural forward thinking in its platform leveraging;

Interdependencies and commonalities in meshing adjacent security systems into one ecosystem. Integrating consoles / dashboards for common functions.
