Idea

Little Rebels is an ed tech that mixes plushies, tech, and media to teach kids about iconic women in history such as Amelia Earhart and Marie Curie.

Current Status

In just two years, Little Rebels has sold over 6,000 plushies. Find us at Macys, Toys R Us, Walmart.com, museums, airports, and educational institutions nationwide. We are also negotiating with other big retailers and in advance conversations with streaming platforms to launch our TV show. We recently launched our books, which are available online at retailers such as Barnes & Noble.

Problem or Opportunity

Little Rebels tackles gender inequality in early education by providing diverse role models, especially women, through interactive plushies. Traditional resources often lack this representation, reinforcing stereotypes and limiting childrens aspirations, particularly girls.
Moreover, the gender gap in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields remains a significant challenge.

Solution (product or service)

At Little Rebels, we have crafted an innovative solution to tackle the underrepresentation of women in history and STEM education during early childhood. Our approach merges plush toys with cutting-edge technology to offer an immersive learning journey.
Our interactive plushies embody real-life women achievers, serving as both playmates and educators, igniting childrens curiosity. Through our app, kids delve into a wealth of content, from captivating videos and interactive ebooks to augmented reality experiences, all centered around these inspirational figures.

Business model

Little Rebels operates on a B2B2C model, selling interactive plushies and educational content through various retail channels like Macys, Toys R Us, and Walmart.com. Additionally, we partner with museums, airports, and educational institutions to reach a broader audience. Our direct to consumer audience is reached by our e-commerce as well as on Amazon.
