We aim to have Ironman’s “Jarvis” - a completely personalized, action based AI secretary - run locally on our powerful desktop PCs.
Current Status
We've designed, engineered, and manufactured our Oki PCs with an AI focus in mind. While our current iterations do not have our AI functionalities built in yet, we already serve gamers, AI developers, and designers @ okicomputers.com. This current financing round is to develop our Oki AI and launch it across our future devices.
Problem or Opportunity
Within 5 years everyone will have an Ironman “Jarvis”, supporting the user to complete tedious life tasks and saving time. The current approach to this completely personalized, action based AI secretary is to use the cloud, which is:
- inefficient: consumer AI requires individualized model finetunes and databases
- expensive: there will be terabytes of continuously expanding user data, storage costs are massive let alone compute costs
- lack privacy: personalized requires sensitive data, data that is not accepted by consumers to be stored on the cloud
Solution (product or service)
At Oki, we aim to have Ironman’s “Jarvis” - a completely personalized, action based AI secretary - run locally on our powerful desktop PCs. This hardware + software approach solves the above problems by running your Oki AI locally, privately, and personalized, and PCs are our unique entry point to consumer AI because:
- High end PCs are already vastly demanded at 80m+ units/yr, serving gamers, engineers, and developers
- it is computationally capable to run such local AI, unlike phones and wearables/gadgets
- there is significant leftover computing power when PC is not in use.
Business model
Our current business is the selling of our hardware + software subscriptions for Oki AI; in 10 years, we hope to transition into a full hardware + software subscription model, where we handle both the maintenance and upgrading of hardware and software providing the user with a hassle free experience.
