Today, we are the leading AI tutor in the young kids’ segment, with 2M MAU (~2% YoY Growth) and $500K+ MRR (93% YoY Growth).
Problem or Opportunity
500 million children are trying to learn English as a foreign or second language. It is a mandatory subject in 83% of schools globally. Yet 99% will not get enough speaking practice to achieve fluency because of the global teacher shortage.
Solution (product or service)
We provide 1:1 tutoring to children using Buddy - our unique multimodal AI Tutor, an embodied virtual character that uses voice recognition and conversational AI to play and teach students.
Business model
We charge a monthly subscription fee of $14 or $35 for a 6-month plan. Until recently, we've been marketing Buddy directly to families. Now, we are preparing to close our first major B2B contract with a school district in Brazil.
