Problem or Opportunity
Half of dog owners struggle to find pet-friendly accommodation and dining options while one-third of them fail to adequately socialize their puppies. Owning a dog is expensive. Americans spend ~$4,500 on their dog annually.
Meanwhile businesses struggle to find ways to connect with target audience of dog-owners. Customers dislike conventional ads with 75% believing there are too many of them. Only 25% of businesses use location-based marketing yet in 90% of cases it yields a growth in sales.
Solution (product or service)
Crowdsourced map of dog-friendly places that are verified by other dog-owners where they can also socialize and chat with one another while earning rewards for their in-app activities.
Businesses generate brand awareness through customizable popup ads displayed when dog owners approach specific locations and collect in-app AR rewards. These rewards can then be redeemed in the marketplace where businesses post exclusive offers.
