Idea

Blix is a smart food maker which offers smoothies, soups, spreads and more with no-prep and no-clean up using its patented technology . Blix serves both B2C and B2B such as hotels, offices, and more.

Current Status

We have recently launched our V2 unit which cost under $45 FOB and have launched about a month ago starting in Israel in the B2B market with partners such as Ikea, PWC, Bank Hapoalim (largest bank in israel) and more and in the US you can find us at 550 madison in NYC , Diplomat, Hilton Midtown and more.

Problem or Opportunity

Blenders are the second most sold kitchen appliance in N.America but have not evolved for the past 100 years since invented. In the home market they suffer from an ever growing issue which is the lack of time as people are busier than ever before and spend less time in the kitchen. In the Away From Home they suffer from constant change in personal leading in inconsistent quality for consumer and this trend continues to grow with workers switching jobs faster than ever before.

Solution (product or service)

Blix is a smart food maker system which consists of our frozen food pouches, smart lids, cup and machine. Each lid has an integrated RFID chip and blade and blends the food to perfection in our cups resulting in no cleanup as the "mess" happens in the to go cup vs. a traditional blender which has to be cleaned.

Business model

The Blix machine is an enabler for us to sell our food servings (classic razor- razor blade model). In the B2B the machine is given at cost and in the B2C we plan to be between $99-149 depending on the channel.
