Problem or Opportunity
With no availability of authenticated supply chain data, companies run a huge business risk of being non-compliant, and cannot validate their ESG reporting backed by trustful data. Existing reporting systems are extremely inefficient, and therefore compliance costs are high.
To validate sustainability claims (E.g. timber product is deforestation-free as required by the EU Timber Regulation), traceability along the supply chain is a prerequisite. Today, traceability is broken in supply chains.
Solution (product or service)
We will solve both reasons for lack of supply chain traceability, by:
1) Developing easy-to-use digital tools, designed using our deep knowledge of regulatory and certification markets
2) Using the power of DLT/Blockchain and Zero Knowledge Proofs to generate trust between supply chain actors
3) Using the power of Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) to provide user-neutral data sharing platforms
Business model
Products are delivered through a subscription-based Software as a Service (SaaS) model to enterprises. Subscribing enterprises receive full rights with the subscription fee, and can onboard their suppliers and clients to the digital platform by providing them free read rights, in order to exchange data and sustainability certifications on the platform (Freemium).
An additional revenue and profit stream is provided by revenue generated by the use of utility tokens from the underlying architecture of the ProSOS.
