The Berry Bot Soap Maker is a novel smart machine that will use technologies such as automation and data cloud to help automate the organic soap industry.
Current Status
We are currently patent pending with LOIs for the Berry Bot and we are our growing retail distribution through Meijers stores for our cpg product.
Problem or Opportunity
Demand for organic, natural soaps has grown astronomically, resulting in the creation of more than 300,000 pro soap makers in the US. But making batches of soap is still a highly manual process due to the existing outdated equipment today. It takes pro soap makers about 3 hours to produce a single batch, limiting their ability to scale.
Handling some of the corrosive ingredients like sodium hydroxide, can cause skin burns, blindness or even respiratory issues due to toxic fume exposure.
Soap makers do not have the proper tools to store large amounts of pre-made solutions safely.
Solution (product or service)
Our Berry Bot is a smart machine that will use technologies such as automation and data cloud to help pro soap makers scale up their businesses. Safety features, scales and heaters are built in, to make the soap production faster and safer. With our Berry Bot, when pro Soap makers are ready to produce, for example; they can select 25lbs of soap on a digital screen, and the berry bot will automatically calculate and dispense, within 15 minutes or less they have a full batch of soap.
Business model
We make money from the sales of the berry bot units, the sales of the maintenance products for the machine, 2 subscription models one that enables automatic delivery of raw material and the second for the sales of bar soap.
