Most VR headsets have secret costs; expensive setups and long setup times for users to play high quality programs. The Vector Gear handles true high-end VR in a standalone, no string attached package.
Current Status
Currently, over 20 companies are being worked with from manufacturing the headset to selling add-ons and mods for it. There are two prototypes being worked on before the headset is put on crowdfunding and goes through FCC and CE certifications. The OS controlling it is made in-house and will be made Open Source after a period of time (to reduce clones from higher funded companies). An ad was ran for 4 hours on a $400 budget, hitting 30k clicks and around 1.8M views.

Problem or Opportunity
Within The VR Headset Sphere, there has been a trend where a device will have four major problems; First, there are secret costs and long setup times that come with all VR headsets, costing many times the headset, given you want to play higher quality VR. Next, most VR headsets simply lack the processing power to play any higher demand experiences, leading to the third problem of game developers making a game with the hardware limitations being a main concern. Finally, the lack of processing power comes from the same hardware being used within bigVR, leading to a lack of competitive quality.
Solution (product or service)
The Vector Gear is a standalone VR headset, meaning it can play higher quality programs without the usage of external hardware. Playing higher demand VR will now require one device, which will be fully setup at the click of a button. Thanks to the higher spec CPU and GPU used in the Vector Gear as well as a custom power and cooling system, the headset only bottlenecks at the most power hungry VR games. Overall, this is in the same way computers were once large, clunky, room sized devices until a device came which miniaturized them and gave them a performance level unseen before.
Competitors
Some competitors include HTC, Sony, Microsoft and Meta.
Advantages or differentiators
All of these companies have stuck to the same formula of VR/AR headset creation, and it has become more apparent within the communities which buy them. The Vector Gear aims to take on the weaknesses of the Quest 2, HTC Vive, PSVR and more and strengthen them, while also working on adding entirely new features to the table. Again, this is similar to how the computer was turned from room sized machines into terminals, then into smaller and more powerful machines leading to today.
Finance
While there are currently B2C goals, there are a number of companies being talked to, with the intent of selling mods designed for the headset, which they will then resell. As of this time for example, one company in China has agreed to buy and resell protection covers for the headset and another has agreed to use the headset with a futuristic face mask, giving the wearer an almost Iron Man style HUD.

Money will be spent on
- FCC and CE Licensing
- Paying a company to create a smaller, more powerful motherboard compared to the current
- Paying an agency to recreate the XR engine and clean/add onto the Shell OS I developed
- Advertising the headset with Youtube Personalities and Google Ads
- Final Prototyping and Mass Manufacturing to lessen the cost per headset
- Business Registration and
- Patenting
Among other things. I aim to use the money as efficiently as possible to bring the Vector Gear to market as a high-quality product.
Offer for investor
I am looking to give a %4 profit cut on the headset sales per $200k until the investment is returned by eight times.
