Each hectare of forest that burns in a fire releases 160 tons of harmful gases (carbon dioxide, methane and nitrogen oxide) during combustion. In 2021 alone, 1.76 billion tons of CO2 were released, along with the fact that the surface needs a minimum of 30 years to return to pre-fire carbon reabsorption levels. Having a fire detection system can significantly reduce damages and maximize fire control efforts. It is also one of the most fundamental steps you can take for fire safety measures.

The solution is a smart, reliable and fast system for detecting fires. The logic of the software is based on the combination of three major branches of the industry: video analytics, artificial intelligence and fire detection: - The software provides real-time video analysis of images captured on video-streaming devices in our systems database. - The core of our system is AI. A constantly improving machine learning algorithm, providing our users with fast and reliable feedback. - With the help of video analysis and AI it becomes possible to detect fire or smoke at the earliest stages and alert authorities.
Competitors
The solutions that have been implemented do not solve the problem of early detection. For example, satellites are not able to identify a fire at the very beginning, thermal imaging cameras and cameras with infrared sensors, apart from being expensive, are also disadvantageous when it comes to detecting hidden gaseous objects. There are cases of countries that are well covered by the monitoring system network, which represents a perfect basis for the application of Spectro technology.
Advantages or differentiators
The advantage of Spectro is that it does not require any additional hardware from the user, but rather integrates into the existing camera infrastructure. That infrastructure can include both CCTV cameras and drones (and anything else that can record the region and transmit a remote stream in real-time). Also, Spectro enables additional specialization of the AI model for a specific case, within 24 hours.

Business model
The business model is designed for both cloud based Software as a Service solution, as well as Software On Premise. By using the cloud, the dynamic allocation of resources is enabled and thus it is a favorable service, but as video material that can be considered confidential is analyzed, local software installation is also provided for such customers’ needs. The price of the subscription SaaS model varies in relation to the number of cameras stored for analysis, as well as the number of agents who receive information through our automated communication channels. Both models also include a health checking system, in order to provide the client with a high-level service. The users are also provided with a dashboard through which they can monitor the situation on the terrain, including the entire study and analysis of his special case, which opens up possibilities for further development of the service, such as the inclusion of prediction and prevention methods.
