Medpack is a smart pill dispenser that, in combination with the mobile app, tracks your medication adherence and makes sure you never miss your therapy again.
Current Status
We have managed to build a functional dispenser prototype and the app.
We have gone through several acceleration programs, won a few startup competitions, and gathered around 40k in grants that helped us get this far.
Problem or Opportunity
Every year medication nonadherence causes more than 300000 deaths and hundreds of billions of dollars of additional costs.
Solution (product or service)
Our solution is a circular mobile dispenser that alerts you when and which medication to take and registers if you have interacted with the right medication. It communicates with the app that allows you to adjust your
schedule and share your adherence report with your doctor, pharmacist, caretakers or family.
Business model
We plan to make money by selling the dispensers and through subscriptions for the more advanced (premium) app functionalities.
We plan to sell to healthcare providers, insurance companies (B2B) as well as to the end-users (B2C).
