VRdirect is the easiest solution for companies to get started with Virtual Reality by enabling internal teams to create, manage and distribute Virtual Reality projects without expert skills.
Current Status
VRdirect has established itself as the most advanced enterprise VR platform on the European market receiving > 4 Mio. EUR in funding and winning renowned blue chips as customers (e.g. Siemens, Porsche, Nestlé, Bayer, Henkel, BCG). In November 2021, Deutsche Telekom, one of VRdirect’s key partners, launched a white label version of the VRdirect platform for SMEs (Telekom VR-Tour).
Problem or Opportunity
Until now, enterprise Virtual Reality projects have always been associated with high time and monetary costs, since an external agency or special programmers usually had to be consulted for implementation. The simple creation and publication of Virtual Reality projects within the company by internal teams was not possible due to the complex development process this technology required so far. Although the advantages of Virtual Reality were well known to decision makers, the high cost kept many companies from experimenting with different Virtual Reality use cases.
Solution (product or service)
The VRdirect Platform enables enterprises, agencies and content creators to create, manage and distribute VR projects with internal teams in a cost-effective way via an intuitive workflow that requires no expert skills. Similar to Microsoft's PowerPoint, users without extensive Virtual Reality knowledge should be able to create and publish their own VR projects.
Business model
VRdirect is distributed via a highly scalable software-as-a-service license business model. Clients can choose between project-based licenses starting from 149 EUR/month or platform-based enterprise licenses (incl. optional white label app) starting from 599 EUR/month .
