Problem or Opportunity
The agricultural trade industry in Uganda has long been characterized by inefficiencies as the result of scattered information and lack of verification of trade parties. This has considerably stalled the healthy flow of trades and created undesirable arbitrage in especially in global trades.
There is hardly any reliable source of up to date market information with the most recent data being the 2018 annual statistics survey by UBOS and this is not enough for the ever changing market.
