Problem or Opportunity
In recent years, PC gaming has seen a massive surge in popularity. In 2020, 10,000 new games were added to the biggest online game store, Steam. In fact, PC gaming is growing so fast, that game developers are struggling to keep up in this ever-changing landscape.
Due to this increased competition, it is becoming very difficult to get your game noticed by players, leading to lower and lower revenues. And because of a lack of proper tools and insights, developers are spending too much on ineffective marketing strategies.
Solution (product or service)
We want to replace all the guesswork with data-driven decision-making by democratizing access to data, valuable insights and practical tools.
Our team has built a unique SaaS product that uses data from many sources to give developers actionable insights.
Steam Data Suite automatically analyses game and marketing performance, and evaluate improvements made to both. This is allowing game companies to reduce costs, improve their sales, and earn more money.
Business model
Like many SaaS products, we provide pricing plans that fit the size and goals of game companies. As our product is very broad, we have many levers to pull to optimize the revenue we can earn from our clients. Clients can also sign up for our free plan in exchange for providing access to their data. This is providing us with valuable insights we use to further improve our product and add value for paying clients.
