Little Bridge is reimagining social media for kids aged 6 - 12 and revolutionising how they learn the international language, English.
Current Status
Our first step has been to sell our award-winning English Language Learning content to institutions, B2B. Since releasing our B2B platform in Q4 of 2020, we’ve partnered with some major education organisations, including governments, with excellent outcomes.
Alongside industry recognition, via the awards we are winning, these B2B partnerships continue to underpin our platform, providing credibility, trust and revenue.
Problem or Opportunity
Young children are online and are accessing adult social media sites. And we adults are rightly concerned.
It is not enough to complain about the dangers of the internet, we need to teach children about being responsible, respectful and considerate when communicating online.
We could use social media to deliver something really positive, something that enriches children’s lives and prepares them for the future. And we should ensure they’re learning and doing something fun, interesting and useful.
Solution (product or service)
Our solution is exactly this: It’s for children internationally, aged 6-12 years. It’s a safe space with full moderation (both machine and human). It uses a shared language, English It helps children develop critical new skills.
Our global online platform enables children to connect safely and message each other, with strict rules that promote kindness and collaboration.
For children who don’t speak English as a first language, our platform offers high quality, structured English Language Learning content in the form of extremely engaging learning activities - that are proven to work.
Business model
We want to build on the success and traction of our B2B business
Our next step is to sell our English Language Learning content to parents globally (B2C), for which we’re raising capital.
And all the while, we’re building our valuable community of children internationally (both English speaking and English learners) who access the social features on our platform, for free, but who can be monetized in the future.
Our plan over the next 3 years is to diversify our revenue streams, monetising both learning and non-learning content and to provide third party advertising - to parents only.
