talentine is an impact creator platform. We bring organizations and people together around relevant issues of our time – with video content on demand, digital live events and serious games.
Current Status
We launched two MVPs (for digital live events and for online team games) in June 2020 and focussed on our core market HR & recruitment. Since then more than 200 organizations have used our products, over 13.000 people have played a game and over 100.000 have participated in an online event.
Now we aim for a seed funding to develop a next version of our platform, enabling creators to do their own events and build their own games. Also we plan to address a broader range of target groups and topics beyond HR - e.g. in the fields of science transfer, local news and education.
Problem or Opportunity
Our world is becoming more complex every day. A transformation to a good and sustainable future will only be achieved cooperatively. Yet today`s publishing and social media platforms are not suitable for discussing complex issues. We need to build new digital spaces to connect organizations and people around relevant topics, challenges and goals.
Solution (product or service)
“Fellows, not followers” – talentine is a platform of a new kind: we focus on the issues and the collective rather than the ego of the individual creator.
We bring together organizations and people around complex and future-oriented topics. The creator community produces and curates content to empower diverse perspectives and a cooperative spirit.
All content on talentine is organized in hubs. Each hub focuses on a topic, a purpose, an organization and/or a region. Within a hub there are three main types of content: Video on Demand, Digital Live Events and Serious Games.
Business model
talentine is a three-sided-platform and uses a freemium model focussing on users, organizations and creators:
users (singles users or employers with multiple users) can use basic features of the platform for free or pay a monthly subscription fee to use premium features. Organizations may also use the platform for the purpose of advertising and recruitment, for which they also sign up for monthly or annual subscriptions.
Creators get a share of the earnings of their hubs and can request a share of the impact fund into which a percentage of all platform revenues goes.
