50M students in Bangladesh are struggling with test prep. During COVID, teachers started teaching through social media. ROOTs is leveraging this marketplace with tech enabled personalization.

Current Status

Through our services we have successfully reached to 500,000 students in just 2 years. There are 10,000 paid users in our app. 40% of them renewed their services at least once. We have crossed 500,000 live class minutes milestone. Average watch time of our videos by our paid users is 43 mins. This proves our credibility in the market.

Problem or Opportunity

50 million students in Bangladesh are struggling with test prep every day, spending $200 per year, creating a market of $9 billion. When COVID came, all the test prep coaches went online and started teaching through social media. ROOTs is leveraging this marketplace with a standard curriculum for teachers and tech-enabled personalization for students. Already, we have created a large community of 500k learners and 30 celebrity educators. With eight years of hands-on experience in the test prep industry, we have built a product that can solve the teacher-student supply-demand problem for good.

Solution (product or service)

We connect top test prep coaches with the students through our platform. Students get live classes, pre-recorded classes, 24/7 doubt solving, tests and quizzes, performance analysis, study materials etc. Besides getting high quality contents students are also saving 80% of the cost and 20 hrs per week.

Business model

We generate revenue directly from the subscription fee. Average subscription fee per month is $10. Average new customers each month is 800 resulting in $8000 MRR.
