Problem or Opportunity
Skilled Labour shortage in the manufacturing industry. 60% of the skilled workers retire within the next 5 years and their skills will be lost. Additionally workers don’t feel appreciated and listened to, the job is not attractive.
Solution (product or service)
Optimo gives blue-collar workers the opportunity to give trainings to their peers (co-workers) and wish for trainings they would like to receive. Older colleagues can eg. offer a Training via the skillwallet App and all the other workers can see that and request a Training with him. Both, Trainer and learner receive learning coins and can exchange them for gas station vouchers or a lunch with their boss. After two weeks they can rate each other’s skills and a new skill will be added to the personal skill wallet, making training suggestions by the app easier.
