Materia offers thousands of brands and products that you can search by brand, category or any attribute. Users can save their favorite products for future use, create moodboards with their product selections to see, combine
and test with any other product and finally get information about the retailer
and reach out directly to the sales rep by call, email or even set destination within the app to the nearest retail store.
Current Status
Our mobile app is currently in testing stage. We are sending invites to testers via TestFlight from Apple. We are planning to launch the products in July 2021

Problem or Opportunity
Materia is a mobile platform that bridges consumers and retailers. Materia helps consumers browse, find and test quality products and conveniently reach to the retailers within the app.
The problem with today's consumers current product search methods is that they are forced to deal with too much clutter and products push via search engines and e-commerce platforms. There is no curation.
If you type "yellow ceramic tile for outdoor use" at google, the results will be almost useless. However, on the other hand, Materia App will offer you many real product selections and allow users to call, email or reach to the nearest retail store within the app.
Also, with conventional search engines, its not possible to make combinations and see different products from different websites, side by side. For example, I
would like to see a specific sofa next to a certain carpet and a wallpaper. I want to combine and select products, based on how the colors and texture go together.

Our main advantage is that Materia offers a moodboard that users can combine different selections and see products side by side. For example, users can see a specific sofa on a specific carpet selection and test if their color match etc.

We will work with the Retailers on a Subscription based system. We will run Ads within the App. Pro version of the App to be a paid subscription for Users

Currently, we are offering Furniture, Lighting and building materials categories. This may not cover enough ground to attract minimum traffic. Thats why we are considering to add, more categories such as accesories, equipment, etc.
