Idea

Our user-friendly mobile application targets people with disabilities, their relatives, and care assistants. Users find new friends as well as a large variety of adapted activities that they can participate in. When creating a profile, the user selects what kind of disability they have. The activities presented in the app for that user are based on their disability.

Current Status

We have developed a MVP which we are proud of. We are going to launch the mobile application as soon as the restrictions of Covid-19 eases. Therefore, we don't have any traction, for the time being. However, we have conducted multiple surveys that conduct that the target audience need our product. You'll find more information on this matter in the pitch deck.

Moreover, we have established great relationships with the target audience and they are excited for our product to launch, which should be soon.

Problem or Opportunity

Our product solves multiple problems for people with disabilities:

- Lack of adapted activities: The range of adapted activities that people with disabilities can be a part of is extremely small. For this reason, our target audience is stuck at home with nothing to do.

- Health issues: Since there isn't much to do for people with special needs, they get stuck at home. Physical inactivity is wide-spread among this group, which is the main reason why people with disabilities are ten times more likely to have health issues compared to the population.

- Lack of information: The target audience spends a lot of time finding activities that they can find and participate in. This is extremely frustrating and time-consuming because of the lack of information.

- Lack of social participation: Social participation is more than twice as low among people with disabilities which fuels loneliness and depression.

Solution (product or service)

Our solution is a user-friendly mobile application that helps people with disabilities to find suitable activities in their local area. We will provide a large number of activities varying from cross-fit to restaurants and even cooking classes. The activities will come from users themselves in the app, associations that work with the target audience, municipalities, and businesses.

The application also promotes social participation and users can easily find friends in the app. For us, inclusion and equality is very important. We work towards 4 of UNs Sustainale Goals.

Competitors

We do not have any direct competitors. The municipalities publish some adapted activities on a website where there is a very limited range of activities. There are no activity app or service that is suited for the needs of people with disabilities.

Events on Facebook are usually published in closed groups and are hard to find. There are very few events on Facebook that are adapted for people with disabilities.

Advantages or differentiators

We have multiple competitive advantages, including:
1. We will by far have the market's widest range of adapted activities where there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

2. We are first on the market and by offering free use of our service, we
will consolidate a strong grip on the market and have a loyal
customer base.

3. We have direct channels to potential users in the form of established collaborations with municipalities and associations that work with the target group.

4. We have no competitors and since we will offer free use of our service it will be extremely hard for upcoming competitors to get a grip of the market.

Finance

We have three revenue streams:

- Memberships: We offer both Freemium and Premium memberships in the app. In Freemium, users will see ads. The price for Premium is $2 per month.
- Activities: Companies advertise in the app from $100 per month. Companies reach a new customer segment for affordable ad space.
- Government: Municipalities purchase our services from $129-$499 per month depending on the plan. This revenue stream is extremely steady since it is the government.

In year 5 we predict to have revenue streams of $ 3,2 million for the Swedish market.

Business model

Our business model is comprehensive and covers a lot of revenue streams as mentioned above. By offering Freemium (free use of our service) we will gain a strong grip on the market and have a large and loyal customer base. We have direct communication channels to end-users in the established relationships with associations that work with people with disabilities.

We also consider care assistants and care assistant companies as a large segment since they are in the need of better products than what they are using on a daily basis. We have already established dialogues with a few care assistant companies. The companies within the care assistant industry is very close to each other, so our service will spread fast.

Our channel into municipalities is through state employees. They have showed genuine interest in our services and have order for a meeting with over 25 municipalities in the Stockholm region where Salta Friends will be the topic.

We have great forecast to succeed with the right help of investment. The problems that we solve are global, and therefore has a high market potential.

Money will be spent on

For this investment round we aim to raise $270,000. The capital raised will be spent on the following and will last 12 months;

- Administration and office: $78,000
- Project management: $27,000
- Development and maintenance of application: $60,000
- Sales: $48,000
- Marketing: $36 000
- Media: $24,000

Offer for investor

Salta Friend Sverige AB holds 5 million Class A shaes with a unit price of $0,3 per share. The company valuation corresponds to $1,5 million, which is based on growth potential, forecast revenues and a sustainable business concept.

The offers we have for investors are the following:

1. $75,000 for 5 % of the company (250 000 shares)
2. $150,000 for 10 % of the company (500 000 shares)
3. $225,000 for 15 % of the company (750 000 shares)
4. $300,000 for 20 % of the company (1 000 000 shares)

Team or Management

Risks

We have a solid business idea and a clear need that we can fulfill with our solution. The risk, for the time being, is Covid-19 which has delayed our launch date since it isn't strategically smart to promote an activity app when the population is recommended to stay indoors. Otherwise, our forecast looks exceptionally great!
