Shortage of doctors and lack of ability to produce more has opened a gap for our technology that allows doctors to meet the demand by reducing the amount of human labour needed to keep people healthy, giving doctors more time to attend to more patients without compromising the level of care

Current Status

Currently, in operation, our clients include the 3rd Biggest hospital in the world (Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital), the 2nd top university in Africa (University of Wit Watersrand).

21 000 medical doctors in South Africa who are practicing privately, 10 academic hospitals.

Healthcare facilities that are paper-based with high risk for Medical Errors leading to litigations, Expensive healthcare due to administration shortcoming and late diagnosis of diseases, poor clinical outcomes due to lack of up to date and accurate patient information at the point of care. Overworked Doctors due to the national shortage and the disease burden.

Advantages or differentiators

Proving the current reality vs the future (our positioning). The current reality was once a future never imagined, faced with resistance even though it proved to better both parties; the Doctor and the Patient.
We embarked on a market intelligence journey from August 2019 to February 2020 in preparation for the MVP launch, visiting Private Medical Practices seeking to understand their needs, current solutions, and current pains. We met over 160 practice owners (Medical Doctors) in total from Gauteng, Western Cape, and Eastern Cape, an even mix of urban and rural.
The undeniable fact that most electronic health record systems are designed to track and bill procedures rather than provide optimal patient care. Over 90% of the respondents were more interested on the ability to track and bill, nothing about:
• Practice efficiency
• Clinical outcomes
• Lost and/or misplaced files
• Lack of accurate and up-to-date patient health information at the point of care

Marketing and further developments for Intuition functionality of the product to make Doctors lives even easier (we are developing a mini-doctor partner)
